About Us
Practical Expertise in Water, Flood and Environmental Management
MV Environmental Solutions (MVES) provides consultancy in flood risk assessment, stormwater drainage, water and wastewater engineering, groundwater investigations and integrated water resource management.
We help industries, developers, institutions and communities understand their water challenges and develop practical solutions suited to their sites. Our work combines field understanding, technical analysis and engineering with attention to implementation, operating requirements and project economics.
Our Approach
Water challenges extend beyond individual site boundaries. Rainfall, terrain, land use, upstream runoff, drainage networks, groundwater and downstream conditions all influence how a site performs.
We study these connections to develop coordinated recommendations for flood mitigation, drainage improvement, water conservation, treatment and reuse. Each assignment is tailored to the project’s scale, location and specific requirements.
From individual developments to industrial estates and townships, our foundation remains the same: sound technical principles, careful assessment and a clear understanding of how water moves through the landscape.
Our Experience
Our project experience includes flood impact studies, stormwater modelling, drainage adequacy assessments, rainwater harvesting, hydrogeological investigations, treatment system engineering and integrated water management planning.
Assignments include water and drainage studies for the 1,000-acre Thervoy Kandigai Industrial Park, flood mitigation planning for the 165-acre SIDCO Industrial Estate at Thirumazhisai, and flood impact assessment and stormwater design for Disney Asianet Studios in Kerala.
Our wider experience spans residential townships, industrial treatment facilities, institutional campuses and rural water resource programmes.
Our Leadership
MVES is led by L. Susithra, Managing Director, an Integrated Water Resources Management professional with 20 years of experience in water resource planning, flood management, and water and wastewater systems.
Her academic background includes postgraduate study in Geography, with climatology and oceanography as core subjects, and postgraduate certification in Integrated Water Resource Management from McGill University, Canada. Her additional training covers architecture, plumbing design, GIS and remote sensing.
She is a lifetime member of India Water Partnership and brings an integrated perspective to the planning and management of water systems.
Our Multidisciplinary Team
Our team brings together expertise in hydrology, hydraulics, hydrogeology, treatment processes, civil and structural engineering, mechanical systems and project implementation.
This combination enables us to consider the full water management system and coordinate recommendations across technical disciplines.
Our Vision
To grow as a trusted consultancy in water and environmental management, applying technical knowledge and appropriate technology to develop practical, economical and sustainable solutions.
